Tommaso Fiacchino began his film career with Quienes Son (Who Are They?), a short film about the search for extraterrestrial life in Cuba, which was an official selection at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. Before he came to work for Cherry Road Films, he co-produced El Destino no Tiene Favoritos (Destiny Has No Favorites) which was the winner of the Audience Award at both Montreal's Film Festival and Madrid's International Comedy Festival. He also produced the award-winning, PBS documentaries, Al Otro Lado (To The Other Side) and Revolucion: Five Visions.
